  • La Cabeza of Niki de Saint Phalle : Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002) is one of the most renowned artists from the mid-twentieth century. Throughout her prolific career, Saint Phalle created a complex body of work in various media which was deeply embedded with socio-political issues. With themes ranging from joyful to profound to intellectual, the paradoxal mature of her work has yet to be fully explored. She was one of the first women to receive international acclaim and recognition during her lifetime, as well as successfully create a public persona. Similar to Warhol, Saint Phalle was able to use the media to skillfully guide the reception of her work. From 17th September 2014 to 1st February 2015. Le Grand Palais (8ème). Closed on Tuesday. 
  • Paul Durand-Ruel. Le pari de l'impressionnisme : From the beginning of the 1870s, Paul Durand-Ruel discovered and supported Impressionist painters with flair and passion, buying and selling thousands of Impressionist paintings, including the masterpieces of the movement, often in difficult circumstances. A painting "missionary" as Renoir liked to call him, he also contributed to the invention of the modern art market and gave an unprecedented international dimension to his gallery, particularly in the United States. At the turn of the 20th century, the dealer has established the largest European and American Impressionist collections, both public and private. Through some 80 paintings, drawings photographs and documents, the exhibition will recount a crucial time, from the end of the 1860s to the turn of the 20th century, where an artistic avant-garde gained international recognition driven by an enterprising and inventive dealer. From 09th October 2014 to 08th February 2015.  Luxembourg Museum (6ème).   • Tattooists Tattooed : The exhibition returns to the sources of tattoing and presents the renewed of this phenomenon in its now permanent and globalised manifestation.
