  • Galas of the Circus - a show under the motto "You vote for the winners!" The competition show Galas Circus – Trilogy reaches this year its thirteenth edition and will take place at the Globus Circus between the 17th of October and the 21st of December. Only the most beautiful numbers acrobatic aerial numbers, tights animals and comic moments. will compete in the competition for the grand prize, as in previous editions. The performances will be gathered under three different shows – Blue Angels, Angels and The White Gala. Audience is invited to watch and vote in the shows "White Angels" and "Blue Angels"; only their enjoyment decides whether the artists deserve an award at Galas Circus. 
  • Bucharest Christmas Market, probably the most important market of its kind that will take place this year in Bucharest, will begin on the 28th of November and will be open until the 28th of December. The official Christmas market of the Romanian capital will take place in University Square and Cismigiu Park, places that will be turned into Santa’s fairytale villages. As in the previous editions, the Bucharest Christmas Market 2014 will gather exhibitors from all over the country and will be scene to numerous shows, special surprises and activities dedicated to children of all ages. 
  • The exhibition center Romexpo hosts what promises to be the grandest Christmas fair in Bucharest this year, "Bucharest Christmas Shopping”. Between the 1st and the 21st of December visitors will have the opportunity to choose between thousands of products, from authentic Romanian products to gadgets and trinkets, meaning no taste will be left unsatisfied, even to the most picky of customers. Contributing to the fair atmosphere, the center will also have both indoors and outdoors entertainment areas that will include a huge Christmas tree and bands of vocal interpreters singing carols.
  • Stradivarius versus Guarneri or, in other words the Duel of Violins is a beautiful musical tour which delighted audiences across the country. Two internationally acknowledged Romanian violinists, Liviu Prunaru and Gabriel Croitoru, play two prestigious violins in a battle of artistic mastery in a series of concerts and recitals across Romania! Together with the Romanian Radio Chamber Orchestra, the two violonists will perform the famous Bach Double at the Romanian Radio Hall on the 10th and 11th of December.
  • If the legendary trio – Pavarotti, Domingo and Carreras – has made history with memorable opera galas performed during Christmas time, we are pleased to invite you to an extraordinary trio event at the Romanian Radio Hall which aims to do the same, only in Romanian style: The Three Divas! For the 4th year consecutively, the audience has the opportunity to listen live to three Romanian lyrical artists with an outstanding international tenure: sopranos Teodora Gheorghiu and Aurelia Florian and mezzosoprano Roxana Constantinescu. The extraordinary event will take place at the Radio Hall on the 12th of December.
  • We’ve reached the 13th consecutive year in which Stefan Banica junior, one of Romania’s best known and appreciated artists, greets the holiday season with his concerts, putting his fans into the special Christmassy mood. The singer, author, actor and public figure is best known for his rock-and-roll hits, but has been known to sing some of the most splendid Christmas rock ballads, so don’t miss out the chance to hear him in concert. On special request from his fans, the shows that were initially supposed to take place at the Palace Hall on the 12th and 13th of December will be extended by one more, taking place on the 14th of December.
  • The Choir group “Songs” invites you to an extraordinary Christmas concert that will bring together songs from all parts of the world. If you’ve ever wondered how Romanian, American, Spanish, German, English, or French carols and traditional Christmas songs sound like, now it’s your chance to participate at a show that not only will satisfy your curiosity, but will surely contribute to put you in a Christmassy mood. The event will take place at the Radio Hall on the 13th of December.
  • Romanian heavy rock band Trooper and Blaze Bayley, former head singer of the band Iron Maiden, are the proof that December doesn’t have to be all about carols and classical choirs. Their tribute performance to Iron Maiden, has now reached its second edition, An Iron Tribute 2. Their rocking performance will take place in Colectiv Club on the 13th of December, which will hopefully be not a bad-luck day, since the Romanian band celebrates its 19th year of career.
  • The National Chamber Choir Madrigal – Marin Constantin, will perform a special Christmas concert for the 51st consecutive year, this time on the 14th of December, at the Romanian Athenaeum. The legendary choir will surely mark the most important event of its sort, as the ensemble is renowned for being the most enduring choir, with shows that best express and transmit the Christmas spirit to their audience.
  • Mirabela Dauer lives for music. With a musical career of more than 40 years, the Romanian artist knows that music can make people better and more beautiful. Mira, as friends call her, is the equivalent of a diva, an artist who loves both old, and new generation of artists, supporting and promoting them. The performance she will have at Patria Cinema on the 14th of December will give you the opportunity to discover that "It takes love" to unite people and to truly feel the Christmas spirit. 
  • No Christmas would ever be complete without the traditional Romanian carols and songs. And there are few artists that can better perform such songs than the beloved artist Stefan Hrusca. In the middle of December, on the 15th, the artist meets his fans at the Palace Hall in a show that will be a genuine invitation for all the participants in the audience to valor and pass on the Romanian traditions and customs.
  • For those who value Romanian Christmas traditional songs or just want to have the opportunity to know them, an extraordinary Romanian folkloric music concert will take place on December 16 at the Palace Hall – "Here come the carolers!". The performing artists are nothing less than the finest artists of Romanian traditional folkloric music: Constantin Enceanu, Niculina Stoican, Petrică Matu Stoian, Mioara Velicu, Mariana Ionescu Capitanescu, Veta Biris, Lupu and Cornelia Rednic. Special guests such as the Folkloric Orchestra of Chisinau, but also pop artists Stela Popescu, Raoul, Anca Turcasiu, and Gabriel Dorobantu will contribute to bringing the authentic Romanian Christmas sprit to the capital. Open your hearts and receive the most beautiful holiday wishes and celebrate together with the artists and the audience.
  • The beloved Austrian musicians of the Johann Strauss Ensemble return to Romania for the tenth consecutive year, on the 17th of December, at the Palace Hall. This year they will delight us with "The Best of Vienna", a wonderful Christmas concert, which will be part of a tour in our country. The ensemble has enchanted the Romanian audience year after year, with the typical Austrian virtuosity, plus a drop of humor, elements that underline the international success of this leading orchestra, applauded enthusiastically all over the world.
  • The National Music University of Bucharest together with Majura Christ Foundation organize a special show on December 17th, “It’s Time to Celebrate”, a charity concert for the benefit of the Foundation "Children in Need". All tickets purchased will support the "Saint Margaret" center for children with severe neurological diseases, ensuring that the audience will not only participate at a wonderful performance, but by their act of charity will also assist Santa himself, setting a true Christmas spirit.
  • On the 18th of December the sound of a grand maestro will fill the Palace Hall – Gheorghe Zamfir, a figure of genius in the history of music, internationally renowned and appreciated musical author and interpreter of unique folkloric, chamber, choir, vocal, instrumental, and symphonic pieces. No further introduction is needed for this artist, who will be joined on stage by oter accomplished artists: violinist Eugen Sarbu and his Stradivarius violin, actor Dan Puric, soprano Alexandra Coman, iconic chorus Madrigal, and the Gheorghe Zamfir National Orchestra. The performance includes Romanian folkloric songs, famous songs from the international repertoire, and of course classical works and creations of the master Gheorghe Zamfir.
  • Havasi returns to Romania for a new show, entitled “Symphonic Concert Show”. The event will take place on December 20 at Polyvalent Hall and will be composed by an impressive music program, supported by over 100 artists. Production will be even more spectacular than the artist’s last show in Bucharest, since this time it will feature a number of new elements of composition, resembling a genre battle between rock and classic, in Drum and Piano Show, pop music and chamber music, and also including a tribute to plastic arts. Although seemingly different, the various types of art form will merge in one grand Finale, reminding audience that art has many forms.
  • Experience a fairytale Christmas together with the Strauss Festival Orchestra Vienna! For the 6th time in Bucharest, the renowned ensemble will perform the already classic concert entitled Vienna Classic Christmas, on the 20th and 21st of December, at Palace Hall. This year the performance will be enriched by two special guests: soprano Leontina Vaduva and tenor Robert Nagy, who will contribute to make the audience feel the Viennese spirit in a grandiose show.
  • The beloved Portuguese Fado artist Ana Moura will make a comeback to Bucharest on the 28th of December, in a special show taking place at the Palace Hall. After the success and warm welcome she received on her initial visit to Bucharest, the artist was seduced by the Romanian audience and will once again bring the traditional Portuguese music to the capital of Romania, this time also including season’s carols and songs.
  • The Palace Hall will be host to an extraordinary New Year’s Eve concert performed by the Bucharest Symphonic Orchestra. The event will take place on the 30th of December and will be just the first of his kind, aiming to bring Bucharest in line with the other major European capitals, which have made it a tradition of performing this sort of concert at the turn of the years.
