  • Starting the 10th of May until the 14th of September Sector 3 Bucharest City Hall brings culture to the street in the middle of the city with 'The Summer Symphonies'. Each weekend starting from 19:30 until 21:00 everybody is invited to enjoy symphonic music or band music in Coltea Park. The weekly event is free of charge and aims to bring a bit of culture in an open-air concert.
  • The summer is over, but the show is certainly not – the theatre festival “Caragiale’s Bucharest” will continue until the 14th of September. This year brings to Bucharest the third edition of the Caragiale festival and takes places in the Old Town, on the very streets that Caragiale must have walked almost a hundred years ago. In its already established tradition, the festival brings together young actors at the beginning of their careers as well as renowned ones, consecrated directors and directors which hope to establish themselves, but above all, brings the people of Bucharest an oasis of culture in the middle of the capital. 
  • Staring September 1 and ending on the 11th, the Underground Independent Theatre Festival will take place at The Romanian Peasant Museum. Reaching its 7th edition, the innovative festival which has the motto “Quality, not quantity” aims to bring on stage only the best independent shows of the year. You don’t need to dress up for these shows, as they are inspired by and designed for everyday people, without the artificiality of pompous stage decors or sophisticated lights and sets.
  • Hard Rock Cafe invites you on the 5th of September 2014 at a concert by the Romanian rock band Byron. For the second time in Hard Rock Café, the band aims to get a sold out house once more. The band is appreciated for their endeavors during their merely 7 years career: they have launched 4 albums, started major projects such as the concert at Salina Turda, the Byron competition “Rock Your High School”, and the musical "The Merry Wives din Windsor"), not to mention the numerous concerts and shows all over the country.
  • The Holi Festival Romania Tour reaches Romexpo complex in Bucharest on the 6th of September. The dance-trance festival brings together some of the best DJ today, such as Moguai, Virgil, Rosario Internullo, ShutUp, Adrian Eftimie, Dj Optik, Bodo Neumann and Anna Elektra. The inspiration of the festival is the colorful and lively Indian celebration of Holi and the aim is to bring people together the same way, in a bright burst of joy and dance.
  • The internationally renowned music competition George Enescu opens its 14th edition on the 6th of September with an extraordinary concert by the winners of the Jeunesses Musicales Competition and ends on the 27th with the competition final galas. More than 230 young artists from 36 countries, considered to be the future great names in classical music worldwide will participate this year in one of the world’s greatest classical music competition. The competitors will participate at more than 40 concerts and extraordinary recitals, leaving for the judges to make a hard decision. The concerts and recitals will take place at the Romanian Athenaeum and the National University of Music in Bucharest.
  • The last weekend of vacation brings Lala Band fans a super concert by Dorian Popa. Alina Eremia and One, all former members of the band. On the 9th of September, starting from 19:00 Cinema Patria will be host to the cheerful youngsters that will surely bring smiles on your faces and load you with their positive energy! 
  • On September 12, the tunes of AC / DC will once more rock the stage at Hard Rock Cafe. After the sold out show in spring, the best tribute band of AC / DC, entitled The Rock, will be back on stage to play hits such as “Thunderstruck”, “Hard As A Rock”, “Back in Black” or “TNT” as well as other hits of the legendary Australian band.
