Bavarian State Opera
In winter/spring 2013 the Bavarian State Opera inspires again with many famous operas; e.g. Carmen, Lucrezia Borgia, Siegfried, Die Walküre or Il Barbiere di Siviglia.

Der Blaue Reiter in Munich
About one month ago Munich's art museum "Lenbachhaus" reopened its doors after a long phase of renovation. You can find artworks from Klee, Macke and Münter and of course the famous art collection "Der Blaue Reiter" from Kandinsky and Marc.

Insider Tips:

Visit the “Englischer Garten” for a stroll and a beer at the “Chinesischer Turm” beer garden. The “Englischer Garten” is one of the largest inner city parks worldwide and is renowned for its beer gardens, the inner city surfing wave and recreational areas.
When staying in Munich make sure you climb up the tower of St. Peter`s Church which is located in downtown Munich and from there you can enjoy great views over the whole Munich and even further away to the Alps.
