Imperial Palace (Die Hofburg)

The Ring Straße
Replacing the former city wall, the first district is now surrounded by a circular road. Many of the city’s best-known and official buildings (such as the Parliament, the City Hall, the Opera, the Burgtheater and the old University) are situated along this nobly designed boulevard.
